The AIDS pathogenesis hypothesis of me, Docteur Pierre Quellere, and Dr. med. designatus Krishna Nand Tiwari has firstly been presented as virtual poster contribution to the International AIDS Pathogenese Symposium, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 2005. The aquired immun deficiency syndrome is indirectly induced by the LAV, lymphotropic adenovirus (Montagner nomenclature). The LAV infects specifically the T-lymphocytes. After an incubation time of 2-4 weeks the virus titer reaches maximum. The immunstatus is lowered significantly allowing opportunistic infections to occure. The newly biosynthesized T-lymphocytes are incorporal reinfected, prolonging the infectious disease caused by the LAV. The opportunistic infections like pneumonia, tbc and later fungal infections are the direct cause of AIDS by first damaging (preAIDS, ARC = AIDS related complex) and then completely destroying the immun system (late stage of AIDS). This explains, why the LAV titer in the late stage of AIDS is going to zero. There are no T-lymphocytes (host cells of the LAV) any more. LAV elemination should be possible by donation of ARV = antiretroviral drugs and protection of the newly yet uninfected biosynthesized T-lymphocytes using high doses of fusion inhibitors [LAV eleminatio ex corpore]
