Since nearly a decade I am supporting the demand of african activists for free licences of pharma-patents for antiretroviral drugs and antibiotics. Anyone in Africa who is infected by the LAV (Montagner nomenclature) should get the pharmaceutical treatment right now. To make this reality a generica production and pharmaceutical research in Africa is an urgent necessity.
