know better about songs and how it is going in english

I have the worst of all illnesses
I have a disease called "hurdle"
yes, I have a virus and AIDS is its name
but don't disqualify people because of it

There are viruses, there's AIDS and there's cancer
There's phthisis, sclerosis and also epilepsy
There are lots of diseases that are not less serious
But AIDS has its stigma

Don't disqualify the person who has the virus
and if AIDS is the name, it's not his family's
don't disqualify a person because of such an awful name
because it's no different then any other name

always remember that if it happens to someone
it doesn't say he's bad
he needs a hug, not rejection
because that's how society is, yes that's what it means

so the virus is in my blood but yes, this is who I am
the same man walking down the road
I'm the same man, not changed
so please, so please, don't cast me aside

remember that bad luck doesn't skip
over any house, even if it's sealed
remember there is one key
that opens up the heart and gives a little hope

don't disqualify people because of a drop of blood

I've said it once and I'll say it again. This is a good tune. The recording is also excellent; great production. I wish so much that we could get some attention for it.
Is there really no way you could get it properly recorded in English in Israel? I can't promise anything, but if nothing else, I might be able to include it in one of the soundtracks of AIDS films and tv programmes we're working on this coming year.

You know what might also work. How about a combination English and Hebrew? Who knows, throw in some arabic phrases too? I don't know if you got the Ketchup Girls hit from a couple of summers ago. But they did it in Spanish, English and some garbled made up language and it made it to number 1 in Europe!!

I'll be frank, I was surprised to hear the quality when I first heard it. And the second time just as much.

I'm thinking that there is maybe an opportunity to attach music to the response to AIDS. When you think about it, there are no other causes that are really 'associated' with music. Sure, there was Live Aid, Live 8 and a dozen other concerts for as many causes. But no single cause has really used music to spread its message. I'm thinking both of medical and humanitarian causes. Cancer, drought, hunger... etc. So maybe we can start a trend here and get composers to write more and more songs about living with HIV and AIDS, about fighting it...

In fact, as I write, I realise there was a cause that used music, and did so well. The civil rights movement in the US. Probably thousands of songs were written over the decades it took to finally emancipate the opressed. Why not us?

It's wonderful that Mr. Jony set the song to music. But I am not able to here it. Would you please help me how to here the song.Mostly young people are affected by HIV/AIDS. One of the reasons is there is no authentic and reliable information on HIV/AIDS. So young people are not much believing anything in the campaign against HIV/AIDS.SO IT IS NECESSARY TO BUILD BELIEVABLE AND RELIABLE INFORMATION. Also we can use the mediums young people usually like, to tell them about HIV/AIDS.MUSIC CAN BE ONE OF THEM.As you may remember I also subscribed a song " LET'S HEAL THE WORLD OF AIDS " I am still trying to set it to music. Also I have many photographs of my poster Exibitions against HIV/AIDS.I want to share them with our members. Would you please help me how to do that.

I have written 2 songs for him based on his Hebrew song.
